Marco Polo and Jasper's Restaurant, located just 1 block East of State Line on 103rd in Kansas City, Mo, has the most DELICIOUS tasting Italian foods in the area. FRIENDLY AND GRACIOUS STAFF. Menu items for Marco Polo posted on a Deli board. Jaspers has its own menu with more leisure family style dining. Selections include: Italian Sausage with grilled potatoes, pizza, spaghetti and meatballs or italian meatsauce, plus a host of Specialty selection sandwiches and salads all made fresh daily, Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays. Desserts are CANNOLI, and more. Jasper's own Italian Salad Dressing and Tuscan Salad Dressings in the bottle are available for purchase. Take out orders and on-line orders accepted with curbside pickup. Some space for Dining inside. Outside tables available. Limited parking, few disabled parking, but not Disabled access entry. Disabled Restroom available in Male and Female marked Restrooms. Not Wheelchair accessible. 12-18-2024. Mgb.

buddy & I stopped by for takeout mid-hike on Tomahawk/Indian Creek Trail. quick order at the counter, a few minutes of people watching on 103rd St, & food was ready. he went with Grilled Sausage Sandwich w/ onions/peppers/potatoes. I had Fat Marco Polo Sandwich (salami, mortadella, capicola, provolone, garlic butter, onions, olives).

Both were DELICIOUS. Meats were so tasty, bread was fresh & crusty & yummy 😋

fast, polite, attentive service. place was clean & staff was very friendly & cool. can't wait to come back! cheers!

5 Stars I've been away too long, just had finest Italian sandwiches in KC! Absolutely delicious along with such great service from Cassie. Always great to see her behind the register. Nothing changes, always so consistent!

Happened to be down Marco Polo's way at lunch time, could not resist a gondola sandwich (meatball), a chicken parm sandwich and a large spinach salad...all to take hone and split with Lynda for lunch.

Marco Polo is always a lunchtime treat to watch "take place". Regulars are greeted like family, folks always smile when entering...how could you not smile when that wondeful aroma of Italian lunchtime goodness greets you? And I don't know what sort of wizardry goes on with their spinach salad, but it is one of those items that is unmatched, anywhere.

Great Great lunch, always a treat to stop in at Jasper's and Marco Polo's...today was a perfect day on the patio btw!

The best Italian restaurant! From the time you walk in to the time you leave your treated like family. The calamari was perfectly cooked. I has the Scampi Alla Livornese with angel hair pasta. The cream sauce covering the pasta to the shrimp cooked perfectly is so delicious and flavorful. I could eat it everyday and never get tired of it. My daughter had the Linguini Alla San Remo without the calamari and not to spicy! The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly and that sauce is full of flavor. The dinner salads are fresh, crisp and properly dressed with dressing. Love the option to add blue cheese. For dessert I had chocolate cake made with mayonnaise. It's so moist and decadent. My daughter had the cookies and cream ice cream cover in a chocolate coating. So good! The portions are huge and you will definitely will have leftovers for the next day. Jasper and the whole staff go beyond to make sure you have a great dinning experience. I always enjoy when Jasper comes by and makes sure everything is on point and chat. Thank you!

Pros:
1) Fairly tasty food

Cons:
1) Fairly high price point (for what you get) - $27 for two of us to eat (meal + soda + 1 side of garlic bread). It’s like $1 per ravioli and the ravioli is essentially the same as the kind you get from the supermarket for $0.50 per ravioli and bake in the oven.
2) Small restaurant interior
3) Feels like the unloved/rejected side of Jaspers - the pizza by the slice is old/cold and I watched as they microwaved one of these old slices to serve someone

Horrible, the sausage sandwich was an embassament compared to how it was made years ago at 75th and Wornall, dry tasteless offered with mustard, no way. My grandsons spaghetti was cooked right, sauce worthless meatball processed. My daughters chicken parm sandwich was OK, that's it, never go back.
