Love this new location better than the one on Western. Better neighborhood. Better vibe. Very clean inside. Lots of options, fair prices, lots of seating. Very friendly service. Would return to this location and highly recommend it. Parking can be tricky. Free street parking, might have to walk a short distance.

Eeep! There were so many tempting options! I couldn’t pick between the Cinnabon Cold-brew or the Lavender Latte (I’ll be back for the latter)
Adriana was the sweetest barista and even offered to warm my coffee cake ☺️
The service was quick, warm and welcoming staff, yummy coffee, and overall cute vibes. 10/10

This week I ordered 2 avocado toasts in advance, confirmed my order when I picked it up, and only received one…one very burnt one. I thought ok they put both in the same box but nope, only 2 slices (4 halves). I had to leave to work. I was able to eat most of it but I tell you these edges were black. I burn my toast at home but that’s the point of the purchase lol. I still give four stars because usually at any south LA cafe the avocado toast is great, simple without tomatoes and cheese now (I am glad) and the other location honored my lite/no salt request while this one didn’t. Not blaming the worker I think they were alone and could’ve been distracted with opening tasks, not their fault? South LA cafes are generally great + fairer prices. I will say I’ve always encountered nicer staff at the Western location tho, more interaction/consideration/acknowledgement.

Other than this time, avocado toast resembles what it should: a toast with mashed avocado and a seasoning at a fair price. Pan con aguacate, simple like home. If we add some queso fresco it would be chef’s kiss.

I also wish local cafes stayed open just an hour or two later. It would allow more people to make it for a coffee before home.

Loved my visit! Great customer service. So clean and new inside. A lot of seating to meet up with a friend. Yummy coffee and bites on the menu! Even empanadas!!!!!! Definitely coming back.

I live in the neighborhood and was super excited about this location. However, I decided to walk down the street to grab coffee and something to go with it.

My order:
1 matcha
1 Coffee cake
1 avocado toast

It was not busy and had about 3 employees.
I received my order in parts it was not ready at the same time. Coffee cake was first, then my drink and lastly my avocado toast. It all took about 35 mins. The customer services needs to improve and less socialization amongst the employees and more customers service. I kept having to check on my order and I nearly walked out and was gonna ask for a refund.

I’ve been to this location about three times now, during opening week , and today. Everything was good, the young lady that took my order was amazing the thing I didn’t like was that the other older lady I believe is probably a partner of the business, once she seen me I seen her face kind of gave off a ugh type of vibe, I waited for my order and she yells out my name I get up but I seen another women get up so I just thought oh maybe it’s her order and then the worker lady sees me and says again leslie points at my order and gives me a nasty look like basically saying it’s right there but honestly she probably had other online orders we couldn’t see but you can have a great amazing looking new business but it will be the workers who make this business fail. That’s just my opinion though, just work on the customer service please for the customers sake.
